We ain't nobody's fool!
This statement applies to all of us......except my husband who was born on April Fool's Day. It's ok to call him a fool on his birthday but just be aware he's a wise one at that!
For him and all the rest of us.....You can find the best in us! You see we've weathered many a storm. We've climbed many a mountain. We've swam many a turbulent sea. We've done all this and made it safely to the other side.
There have been some hiccups, catchups, pickups, and makeups along the way. Sadly even a few throw ups. But we made it. We survived and all under our care survived....hopefully. We stand proud. We reflect with thanksgiving all God has brought us through. We have been seasoned with grace - God's grace.
We now walk with wisdom. We exude confidence in who we are. We care less about what other's think. There's no longer need to keep up with our kids or to keep up with the Joneses. Our current issue is in keeping up with our car keys and cell phone!
Everyone will have to take us as we come. We're ok with going out in our baggy pants and comfy shoes. You can stare but we don't care! We are who we are. Who we are is a walking wealth of wisdom in those comfy shoes!
Let's get right to it. We know so much but are often asked so little. It's challenging to be a "Titus Woman" in today's world. Our ways may be judged as old fashioned or out-of-date. We prefer to call our ways tried and true. We've learned what works and what doesn't. We're open to share. You know where to find us.
When a young mom prefers to listen to another young mom's podcast rather than consult her own mom who has raised a litter of critters, you have to just smile. At some point we do reach a point of irrelevance but not yet and not today!
We're nobody's fool. We know what we have to offer. All we can be is available to share with an open heart and nonjudgemental spirit. That can be both easy and hard. We can do it.
An added note of caution to me and to you: Beware to share without being asked. 😊
The chill in the air vanished fast as can be.
The warm breeze exploded and awakened me.
I looked out my window at sights to behold.
A bounty of blossoms were soon to unfold.
Pale pink ones and white ones and yellow ones glow.
It seems that all colors were doing a show.
A whole bunch of flowers for my eyes to view.
Some fresh-scented smells make my nose go ah-choo!
